์คโ๏ธ์ 01 - the Small Internet
The first ์คโ๏ธ์ meetup will explore "the Small Internet". The Small Internet movement recognizes that the technology ecosystem of today's Internet world is dominated by "large, monopolistic" actors (corporations, government agencies, etc. ), making it impossible for individuals to use the network for their day-to-day needs with the comfort and freedom they deserve, without being beholden to corporate services. In an effort to preserve the dream of the Internet, 'for all, by all', that was the ideal of the web's early days, some developers and activists are beginning to revive some of the old, worn-out legacies that have been forgotten.
This meetup will feature stories and examples of small Internet movements: http and gemini, markdown and gemtext, tildeverse-a club of personal homepages, self-hosted servers, fediverse, and more. Finally, we'll all briefly create our own webspaces on the Ururu cloud server, starting with tilde (~), and share our impressions.

O'un (๐โโ๏ธ) wan, which means "Today's workout is done!" is a self-check of one's well-being, a declaration of pride in having accomplished today's tasks, and an invitation to share today's workout with someone else. In the O'un (โ๏ธ) wan, with the letter ้ฒ(cloud), the concept of clouds dictates the different circumstances we find ourselves in today: the cloud networks and the Internet that mediate between me and you and us, our bodies as companion species and cyborgs and the ecosystems around us, the weather and environment on the surface of the earth in the midst of a climate crisis, geopolitical crises with wars, poverty, and hatred... Clouds are becoming a part of our daily lives, but nonetheless, wouldn't be a better future possible when we come together? Just as a body that shouts proudly "Today's workout is done!" doesn't happen overnight, we invite you to join us on this long journey through the tunnel, of reading, creating, moving, and becoming a different being. ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐
