우리 주변에는 눈에 보이지 않지만 다양한 파동의 주파수가 흐르고 있기도 합니다. 그 중 단파는 3-30MHz의 해당하는 파장의 종류중 하나로 지표와 전리층을 반사하며 이동하며 수천km의 원거리에도 도달할 수 있기도 합니다. 단파를 이용한 단파 라디오를 만들어보고 홍제천에서 수천km에서 보내는 신호와 메세지를 듣고 잡아봅니다.

🏝️ 사람 소개  

차광수는 메커트로닉 전자기술자이다. 1974년 국제TV학원에서 기술을 습득하였고, 한국의 전자 기술의 중심지인 세운상가에서 약 40년 이상 차전자를 운영하며 기술, 동작구현 등을 전문으로 하고 있다. 한국에서 학생들이 졸업작품 및 프로젝트 등 구현하기 어려운 부분을 구현하고 실현하는데 도우며 발명가들의 멘토의 역할을 하고 있다. 이번 단파라디오 수신기 워크샵에서는 단파라디오를 개발하고 워크샵을 진행한다.

김양우는 몸, 이동, 움직임에 대하여 관심을 가지고 작업을 하고있다. 삶에서 무의식적으로 하는 통근과 노동과 같은 우리들의 일상의 반복적인 동작들과 사각지대처럼 생각되는 일들에 관심을 가지고 있으며 최근에는 화성의 제조업 산업단지의 이주민들과 함께하는 작업들을 하고 있다. 이번 단파라디오 워크샵에서는 차광수 박사와 단파라디오 개발을 함께하였고, 자료들을 시각화하는 작업들을 한다.

Around us, invisible yet diverse wave frequencies flow. Among these, shortwave is one type of wavelength corresponding to 3-30MHz, travelling by reflecting off the Earth's surface and the ionosphere, capable of reaching thousands of kilometres away. We shall build a shortwave radio using shortwave and listen for signals and messages sent from thousands of kilometres away at Hongjecheon.

Kwang-soo Cha is a mechatronics engineer. He acquired his skills at the International TV Academy in 1974 and has operated Cha Electronics in Sewoon Sangga, the heart of Korea's electronics technology, for over 40 years, specialising in technology and operational implementation. He assists students in Korea with implementing challenging aspects of graduation projects and other work, serving as a mentor to inventors. For this shortwave radio receiver workshop, he will develop the shortwave radio and lead the workshop.

Yangwoo Kim works with an interest in the body, movement, and motion. She focuses on the repetitive actions of our daily lives, such as commuting and labour, which we perform unconsciously, and on things that seem like blind spots. Recently, She has been working with migrants in the manufacturing industrial complex in Hwaseong. For this shortwave radio workshop, she collaborated with Dr Kwangsoo Cha on developing the shortwave radio and will be working on visualising the data.

🫧어디에나 있으며, 어디에서나 함께 할 수 있는 것🫧에 대해 이야기하는 것이 절실하다는 생각에서, 라디오 월딩 토크와 워크숍, 스트리밍, 공연등 다양한 활동을 제안합니다.

🫧It is imperative to discuss that which is ubiquitous and can be shared anywhere🫧. Thus, we propose diverse activities: radio worlding talks and workshops, streaming, performances, and more.
